For this project we were asked to look at a day-to-day act or thing and rethink it or redesign it.
Since the beginning of the year (2021), I was taking a photo of my face every day using an app. I decided to use that as a starting point and do an analog version of that, painting my face once a day. I did 49 acrylic paintings, on 5x5cm canvas.
The final product of the 49 hanging canvas was exhibited (with my classmates’ projects) in a studio window in Floridsdorf, Vienna during the month of February 2022.
